Traverse Editor in Civil 3D 2016 Productivity Pack 3

From the readme file.

Update . Released May 18, 2016

The Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2016 Productivity Pack 3 provides a collection of new capabilities for Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2016 users. Survey and mapping professionals can leverage the new Traverse Editor to create points, lines, and curves representing traverse legs and sideshots using a broad set of COGO input and editing tools. They can also leverage the new Traverse Adjustment workflow to perform traverse adjustment and generate reports using Compass, Transit, Crandall, and Grant Line adjustment methods.

My first comments.

Working with a Civil 3D Surface in Carlson/IntelliCAD

What CAD software features matter to Surveyors?

In this post I want to show you that exchanging data between Civil 3D and Carlson Survey is relatively easy.  I made two posts today about transferring data using LandXML.  Additionally, in this blog post at Carlson Connection  you will find that working with Civil 3D data in Carlson/IntelliCAD is not such an impossible chore.  Carlson Survey for example has a command to convert a Civil 3D or Land Desktop surface to a Carlson TIN file.
